To those in my same predicament:

Draw patience from wherever you can and do your best to calm the anxiety.
We just have to wait this out right now. Believe it or not our cases are moving along pretty fast. I remember when it used to take a year before you got a work permit and travel documents and years before you got an interview. So much so that folks would usually just get their 10yr green card after the interview because they waited so long during the AOS process.

Anywhose, vent if you need to. I for one find USCIS and their processes to be woefully inefficient and unnecessarily difficult. But, after all is said and done, right now all we can do now is wait, hope and pray.

Thank you so much for your continuous support, it really does mean a lot to me! How come you still haven't had your biometrics? Did you speak to any of the 2nd Tier officers?

That’s the $64,000 question, lol. Last Tier 2 I spoke with confirmed what Sohi429 said, which is that we just have to wait and they have everything they need for now. My hubs does do biometrics every year when he renews his O-1 visa, so at this point we are hoping they don’t need it.

                • So we received text notification yesterday that interview has been scheduled. I spoke to our attorney though and she said USCIS has been scheduling and then almost immediately canceling. She said it’s best to wait for the letter to arrive as that’s the official confirmation. We’re hopeful we’ll receive the letter in the next couple of days.

                        Congratulations Yoca_2010

You are the first October case that I see is getting the EAD without an expedite. It give us a lot of hope that just maybe... we will hear something soon!!! I saw user British_guy is receiving his soon as well, but he requested an expedite.

Our timeline is pretty similar, maybe a few days difference but still I hope my hubby gets his EAD/AP before his interview.

                        Again congratulations!!!!

I'm not sure if my wife is able to get all of her vaccination history from her home country so I'm not sure how to go about it.

I wasn't able to get my vaccination history either, so this might help:
She basically has two options: a) to have a blood test done and then with the results the physician can confirm she has all the required vaccines, or b) get the list of required vaccinations from USCIS and have the doctor give them to you. I went with option b because option a is much more expensive. Plus, there's no side effect to being vaccinated twice (I know I have my vaccines from my home country, it's just that I don't have the record). Hope that helps!!!
