I was able to open a joint account with my husband for Bank of America and hes does not have a SSN or a TIN

Lucky you, Am in NJ. It’s hit or miss where you go & am guessing which locations: to open an account here: TD Bank/Wells Fargo/Chase are a NO. My husband has business/personal & investments at Chase & they refused to even add me as an authorized user am not opening a separate account at another bank to please USCIS we are legitimate, I think that’s unnecessary

No updates since the RFE was received on 12/11/2019 . I guess I'd have to wait until the I-765 gets out of processing time to raise an SR.

nothing else since then i feel like if is taking forever

Just got an email and text message case status updated

02/18/2020 new card is being produced I-765
02/20/2020 I-765 approval notice sent
02/20/2020 I131 approved

July is almost over and haven't heard anything from USCIS no interview, no RFE i am getting a little worried here.
Should i send the EAD combo card renewal or should I wait, What do ya'll think?

Hello,

When I initially called, it was looking for the receipt of documents sent. Otherwise I have done nothing to expedite our case. We just had patients. it might be whoever has your file and their workload. you are correct that via the phone it is not always correct in getting a live person for what you need to inquire about. You started before me and seem to be stuck since November. I read in some other post that people ask to speak to a tier 2 officer(?). May you need to do that. Again have not done anything extra to move the case along any faster.

I appreciate you taking the time to reply to my questions. Fortunately, later on the day I posted this (2/12) I got my Case Status changed to "Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview" and then the following day (2/13) I got another update of "Interview Was Scheduled". Glad to see my case advancing . I should hopefully get the interview notice in the mail this week. Thanks again for getting back to me!

I was all good and accepting of the wait. But I ran out of patience once I started seeing December filers getting EADs and interview dates.

So we just called in the EAD expedite request. Hopefully they'll send the email for the documents by next Monday and at least this will go smooth and fast for us. Sheesh!

AOS thru USC Spouse and Currently on F-1
Field Office: Newark, NJ
National Benefits Center, Lee’s Summit, Missouri
Oct.1st, 2019: I485/I131/I130/I765 forms (plus Medical form) Mailed to Chicago Lockbox

Nov 7th, 2019: Biometrics done

Dec.5th: I485 “ready to be scheduled for Interview”

Feb.18th New card(I 765) being produced..
