Hello and yes we had our interview back on 2/20/20. We were not approved on the spot. IO told us she was reviewing our case. No updates since then until April 16, 2020. We had filed a 601 waiver, we got it approved on April 16, 2020 and within 2 hours we got a second update for new card being produced for I-485. On April 17th we got the I-130 &I-485 approval update.

Finally got a CS rep for SSA on the line. I have to apply for my SSN using form SS5...even though I checked for that on the form they never sent that info to SSA. I really dislike incompetence

I'm in the same position. It's been over a month since we received my husband's EAD combo card and still no SSC. I'll be sending the SS-5 on Monday by mail. My concern is having to send his original EAD card, passport and birth certificate to SSA as they don't accept copies. What did the CS rep for SSA advise you about this?

So, my local SSA office informed us that a face-to-face interview is required and set my husband up for an in-person interview on Friday morning. Smh. So much for the I-765 application automatic SSN process. Smh!! He'll be going in a space suit with Lysol in each hand.

She said send a copy of the EAD Card & birth certificate that they would accept it under the circumstances. However, a few days after I mailed it off I got my SSN in the mail.

Good for you!!! I think your case was exactly like ours in terms of SSN. We received it almost after a month of EAD . Congratulations

My hubby's SSCard came almost a month after he got his combo card. We got the approval on Feb 6. His SS card was produced on 2/28 so we got it around March 7th. So just maybe, yours should be coming soon. You are reaching that month time frame.

Yes I do. Am just such an impatient soul lol I should have just waited but I felt like something had to be wrong per usual lol
