Our package was delivered on Saturday, October 12 but no word since then. There could have been an issue w/ our payment as I paid by credit card and realized that I put my current address, where the CC address on file was my old address, but changed it within 3 days of it being delivered to the Chicago Lock box so hoping that I caught it in time and, as others have said, this is simply related to heavy volume re public charge rule.

I got my interview letter on Nov 19th, its dated Oct 9th and my interview is also Nov 9th at the Baltimore Field Office. Yay!!

looks like i got my interview notice this past week. First week of December. Strangely, online the case status still shows " ready to be scheduled for an interview".

My status hasn't been updated either. It still says ready for interview even thought the interview notice is dated Oct 9th.

Hi All! Just want to give another update. My lawyer just called and told me that they received my green card! I will go there tomorrow to pick it up.

Case status updated to saying "Interview Was Scheduled" on October 30th and to wait for my interview date in the mail. I changed my address mid September so I hope there aren't any problems with receiving the interview notice. Still nothing in the mail on November 4th.

Does anyone with experience know when I should give them a call to find out my interview date if I haven't received the letter?

Thank you! We had it this morning. It lasted about 25 min. He first asked for out IDs and how we met. Since we met on FB in a social group that caused question on every detail of a first few months of relationship. So I showed him pictures from throughout of our 3 years together (I printed them on paper 2 per page, 56 pages ????)’, random pages from text massages, house deed, insurance and a water bill. I offered more, but he said he had enough evidence. Then he proceeded to ask my husband questions from his form and said he will review a case tomorrow before he decides on approval.
my husband had a prior immigration case.
hoping it works out fine.

Hi KhoiLe, I got the same RFIE in the mail today but I am in the same boat as you, wife is a PR petitioning spouse. Can you please let me know how you proceeded forward with your case?

Hey man sr didnt see ur quote. Anyway my interview was schedule in April 2020 but canceled due to covid. Now it hasn't been updated to new interview schedule and I am still waiting. My EAD expiring in April next year so I probably have to extend it. I saw you already have interview coming up. Congrats dude.

Hi guys, I had my interview last Monday and it went smooth. The officer was very professional and did not ask any questions related to marriage (other than marriage certificate). He even created copies of couple of original documents that we had forgotten to bring. Almost all the questions were directed to me (beneficiary) and most of the time was spent going over corrections in the form and questions about my immigration status history.
The officer confirmed to us that he believed our marriage is bona-fide but he would hold our case for review and we should expect to get an update within 30 days. He gave us a white paper for the review and he also went over the fact that we would just get a conditional green card.

And yesterday I got an online update that a new card is being produced . So I expect to have the GC in hand within a week. Finally, my journey (at least for now lol) here has come to an end. This forum has been an excellent resource for going through the entire process and I can't recommend it enough.

Actually the officer asked about it and I told him that the visa bulletin was current at the time, and that we had received an RFE about it and had already replied to it.

He confirmed that this information online on the spot and said that we were good.
