Health Insurance Rule

Hi all,

Does anyone have any updates on the health insurance rule that was announced earlier this month and set to take effect on November 3? I looked online but couldn't find any updates. Do people know if it applies to anyone who has a pending application, or only applications received after November 3? Also, if you have concurrent health insurance (i.e. Mexican health insurance which covers things in both Mexico and the U.S., would that be sufficient)?

Hi, I’m not really sure but I’m bringing our health, dental and vision insurance ☺️

There seems to be some exemptions, in particular IR5 (parents visa). Question to Insubuy rep - does new immigrant insurance cover pre-existing conditions, especially as US based insurances no longer have a constraint on pre existing conditions.
