485 approval

Hi All,

I called level 2 today to check on the status of my 485. They said the case is approved and card is getting processed today.

However, online I see the status still says "Interview was completed but my case must be reviewed". Do you know how long it takes for the status to reflect what level 2 support said to me? Now I am think did she provide me the correct status? Worried a lot.

I had my interview in Aug but had a RFE on birth certificate, which i submitted last week.

Online status is only correct half the time. My i-130 was approved 2 years ago. My i-485 was approved and I got my green card in July this year but online status is "Interview was completed but my case must be reviewed" for the i-130 which was approved on the spot 2 years ago.

thanks for the reply. finger crossed, hopefully i get my GC in mail in few days. I thanked the customer service agent who told me that the case is approved. but until i see the status or have the GC in hand, I continue to 2nd guess.

Wow, I have the same story, the only difference I has to submit the medical

Hi! Are you by any chance filing with the New York office? Did you submit your birth certificate in person or through mail? I interviewed in September and my I-130 got approved the following week but for I got an RFE for my i-485. They requested that I submit the document in person on 11/1 and I did. Haven't heard anything since. The online status still says "Interview was Scheduled". Appreciate your help!

BTW, how do I reach a level II?
