Does anyone knows what happen after you move and do a change of address? Did it cause your documents to be processed faster or took a longer time? We’re moving from NY to GA 5 months in the process.

Each case is unique, I have read reports from people that move from slower processing office to a faster office that the feel the interview date was assigned faster. Others don't see any difference.
While most people without issues don't post in the forum, you can find some posts that report USCIS sent a letter to the old address even if they report they updated the address correctly.
Just keep everything in order to be on the safe side. Have 2 online accounts and check them once every couple of weeks, call them if you think something is wrong with your case. Most likely you will not have any problems and even get your GC faster but there are always some cases that have problems. Good luck.Nov 2018 - Package sent - EB - Texas Service Center
Day 1 - Package received at the lockbox
Day 999 - Card delivered to me - Aug 2021
