This may not be the proper place to post as I already got my conditional green card 2 years ago, and I'm renewing it... And it's been 3 months since USCIS received my renewing application, and I still have not gotten my receipt notice, served as a green card extension. It needs 30 days for the letter to be received so I can't do anything within 30 days of the letter is sent out.
Here's the story...
My conditional green card expired on 10/27, so I:
- 8/1, sent out I-751 and other stuff,
- 8/8, got text saying case received and should receive receipt notice in mail
Up until then, I still have not gotten my receipt notice.
-9/8, online inquiry about receipt notice
- 9/9, got biometric appointment letter
- 9/16, USCIS responded to my online inquiry saying they have sent out another one
- 9/21, biometric appointment
Still nothing, so time for infopass...
-10/10, scheduled infopass appointment
-10/15, went to infopass appointment. They gave me a stamp on my passport, valid for 3 months only.
-10/16, sent another inquiry by calling, since well if you did online inquiry once, you can't do it online anymore
-11/1, USCIS responded to my online inquiry saying they have sent out another one
Today is 11/7, so far nothing yet. I heard it usually doesn't take too long for the receipt notice to arrive, so I would assume this one is probably also lost.
I did change my residential address before starting the application, as I moved after I got my conditional green card. But my mailing address never changed.
My driver's license has expired with my green card, and now all I have to prove my status is only for 3 months. Having a DL that expires in 3 months then pay again to renew? Umm, don't think so.
Not sure what is going on... Not sure what I can do at this point.

Okay I just received it after posting this........ Hmmm.... Well, still weird that it was lost twice though.
