  • 2.5 months interview

    Hey guys,

I am a little concerned about how quickly my case is moving. My local office is Harlingen, Texas and my recieved date is 09/02/19. I am a concurrent filer of i-485, 130, 765 and 131. Marriage based.
    Biometrics done 10/02/19
    Ready to Interview 10/24/19
    Interview scheduled 11/7/19
Currently waiting for letter with interview date.
Is it normal to have a case move this fast? I haven't had any EAD or AP updates.

    Thanks!

Wow that's really fast! That seems pretty normal as your field office doesn't seem to have a huge backlog. Best of luck on the interview -- you probably wont need the EAD/AP as they're focusing on signing off on your GC.

Hey, don’t worry, you should be overjoyed! Some people wait for almost 2 years or even more for the interview. Happy for you!

Once you get your greencard, you no longer need the EAD+AP.

Take this time to gather all your joint evidence while waiting for the interview. Best of luck!

August32 you got the interview notice mail update on 1/13 but you have not received it yet? Did you call? Normally from what I see, the interviews are about a month from notice, which would make it soon since it's already Feb.
              Anyway, good luck on interview!
