    Hello everyone,

    when your case is ready to be scheduled for an interview, does this mean that it has been transferred to your local field office ?
    my case was ready to be scheduled on 10/02/2019 (field in CA) but when I talked to a uscis agent (via Emma) he told me that my case was still at NBC !
    here is my timeline
    08/02/2019 package sent (marriage based)
    08/12/2019 package received by uscis
    08/16/2019 four notices arrived in the mail (i130 i485 EAD/ap)
    09/06/2019 biometrics done
    09/30/2019 yellow courtesy letter for medical exam
    10/02/2019 case ready to schedule for an interview
    nothing since oct 2nd, no EAD no nothing

    My timeline is

    06/26/2019 package sent ( for both parents )
    07/02/2019 Biometric
    08/30/2019 RFE received
    09/17/2019 RFE response accepted
    10/01/2019 case ready to schedule for an interview

    Philadelphia field office...

    You might have a longer wait...check what priority date applications are getting processed now in your filed office this will give you an idea how long your wait will be.

      That's exactly what it means. Your case is transferred over to your local interviewing USCIS office. They will wait until they can schedule your interview. Generally it takes anywhere from 2-3 months for the interview. However, you should be getting a letter in the mail very soon. Good luck and please keep us posted on the developments.

        Here’s my timeline AOS marriage based also in California
        • filed in March of 2019
        • did biometrics on April
        • on August status changed to CASE READY TO BE SCHEDULED FOR AN INTERVIEW
        • on October I finally received my EAD card
        • on November 13 my interview was scheduled for December 19th

        After receiving my EAD card it took less than a month to finally get an appointment scheduled (Sacramento field office) good luck to you!
