485 Interview question - SR PD: April 2019 NYC

hi everyone, I wanted to ask your opinion on something. In August of this year, my interview for 485 had the following updates:

08/01 - ready to schedule
08/02 - Interview scheduled
--- received interview notice in the mail a few days later --- set for 09/12
08/07 - Interview cancelled and notice ordered

I have been waiting for the reschedule since then. The updates listed above are from the egov.uscis.gov site. In the my.uscis.gov site, there have been no updates at all for all forms filed. it just states "We've received your case. You do not need to do anything at this time."

I did receive EAD in October (approved on the 12th)

Do you guys think it'll harm my case if I submit a case inquiry?

I did chat with Emma last week to see if my file has been transferred to the FO as yet and she said its still at NBC. I thought once it is marked Ready to Schedule, its already at the FO?

Anyone similar? NYC- Queens FO.

They might cancel your interview because they have first approved your I-130. I asked my previous lawyer and he told me now is a very long line for approval I-130.
I filled my case myself so I cannot call him and bother him.

Thanks for your response. Does it really go like that? I don't think the interview is based off of 130. The interview is for I-485, the 130 is for my husband's petition for me, from my understanding.

I thought the same thing. I called and they told me the paperwork doesn't get to the FO until it says interview scheduled. I'm also still waiting for the interview date.

HartfordCtFilerI-485 yeah, that's what I was told, however, mine did get scheduled already and when I originally called in after I got the cancellation notice to verify, they said it could be one of many things like IO overbooked for the day, queue is too long, emergency, etc. and was told they normally reschedule soon after. Still waiting for it.. Hoping it at least gets scheduled soon...

Still waiting. I sent in a request for it to be expedite and is waiting for the respond.
Hopefully they reschedule yours ASAP!
