Please share your valuable opinion! I am an European citizen, marrying a US citizen. I am in the process of AOS ( 2 year married anniversary in Jan 2019 ). I just submitted the RFE and went through 2 interviews. My wife is abusing me emotionally almost everyday. We have a 3 month old son (US citizen) and living together with her old son. She threatens me to withdraw the petition and has a custody if I do not do what she asks and she curses me everyday. She is also abusive to her own son by hitting , slapping and kicking him many times and the kid was crying and screaming really much. I have proofs of evidences with lots of video about that. I was afraid of reporting the incidents for my paperwork situation. My question is that can I use the VAWA law to self petition and take a custody, also protect her own kid and my own kid for a future custody without being deported or denial for the immigration?
