    Finally received combo card renewal approval!

    Hey everyone!

    Just wanted to let you guys who are waiting for a combo card (I-765 & I-131) that is IS coming... it’s just extra slow recently. I just received two updates on my case tracker app this week... one that my card is being produced and then both case numbers were approved. This is for a renewal, btw... my first card took only less than 3 months, but this time around the renewal took a little over 7 months. I did submit a case inquiry the day after the USCIS site listed my application submission date as outside of normal processing, but then 2 days after that they rolled back the dates, so nothing came of that request.

    I did however finally receive an interview date, which is in two weeks!

    So if you’re waiting for that card- either initial or renewal, it is coming.. just slowly. Be patient, and it will happen!
    DACA approved: 12/2014
    I-485, I-130, I-131, I-765 apps. sent: 6/28/2018
    NOA receipt notices received: 7/13/2018
    I-485- Case ready to be scheduled for an interview.: 8/1/2018
    I-765/I-131- Card received.: 10/26/2018
    11/5/19- INTERVIEW SCHEDULED/NOTICE LETTER RECEIVED!
    12/9/19- Interview/approval on same day/card being produced.
    12/12/19- (email) GC being mailed to me notice received.
    12/13/19- (email) USPS picked up card in mail.
    12/14/19- GC delivered.

      I just sent my EAD/AP renewal, for now, I just need the 180-day extension.
      Good to know that it took 7 months for you, I was hoping for 4 months or so, now I can sit back and relax knowing that it is taking a long time.
      Nov 2018 - Package sent - EB - Texas Service Center
      Day 1 - Package received at the lockbox
      Day 999 - Card delivered to me - Aug 2021

        Thank you so much! I can’t believe it’s coming up.. I’m super excited.. just gotta double and triple check that I have everything put together for my binder... will update as soon as it happens!

          Yes, unfortunately it’s taking a long time.. hopefully they have sped things up some for your’s. The updates on the app and website also seem to be off.. the first combo card I didn’t even receive any notifications until only the I-756 status updated and only said that the card was mailed to me. But the I-131 still shows “case received.” This time around for the renewal I got two updates and both statuses updated on the app... but I got only one email notification for the I-765 saying case approved. Totally inconsistent.
