Just wanted to share my long journey and a happy ending.

July 20, 2001 -- LC Priority Date
Sept 25, 2007 -- I-485 Receipt Date - EB-3 category - India
April 13, 2009 -- RFE and responded to RFE by Apr 30, 2009
Oct 01,2009 -- LUD
April 8, 2010 -- e-mail with current status - Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident.
April 13, 2010 -- e-mail with current status - Approval notice sent.
April 17, 2010, -- Got the Permanent Resident Cards (myself and my wife) in mail

I hope this helps some folks to determine timeline of status changes

congratulations ! did you file your AOS last Sept of 2007? I have a lot of friends who filed their AOS last July of 2007 but until now no decision yet. Whats your PD.thanks

Thanks ! Yes, Filed AOS in Sept 2007 and PD was July 20, 2001.
