  • Need Information about Winner of the DV who already in the USA nd has a f-1 statue

I'm among the selected of the DV 2011. I'm already in the USA and I'm F-1 student visa. I want to be clarify about what to do in order to adjust my statue.
    My preoccupations are:

    * Is it important to get a lawyer to help me to adjust my statue or I can just do it by myself?

    * How much can cost to get the the Medical Examination and Vaccination Record (Form I-693) if you don't have insurance?

    * Can the time be a big matter?

    * What is the Visa number in my US Visa? Is the Control Number or The 8 Number in Red?

    * I'm actually in Columbus Ohio in which office I have to send my I-485 after filling it out?

    * How long It can take to get the Green Card after all of the process?

Hope someone will help me Thank you.

You are lucky to be with F1, you have to send the 230 and 212 first, after you apply for the I-485, Follow the step. Other way go to USCIS local, and the explain to you what you need it.

Also you need a medical examitation specific...

      Good luck

          Hello! Congratulations.
Did you receive any forms with the package?
If so you have to fill them out and send to Kentucky Consular center.
You should note in the form that you will adjust your status with USCIS.
          This is the first step.
After that just wait for an answer from the Kentucky Consular Center.
Actually later I could write you some kind of instructions what to do step by step.
I just passed the whole thing

P.s. Make sure you maintain your F1 status for one more year
