I am still pending to get receipts, and my question is i know that uscis chicago lockbox got my packet 10/31/2019... no matter when i get the receipt the PD will always be one or two days after they got the package right? i just want to make sure im not getting behind because my receipts are taking longer...

It depends, your priority date will show on the receipt notice when you receive it. You won’t have a date until your documents are uploaded on the system therefore generating a receipt code. It seems as if a lot of October filers have this same issue of delayed receipt notices. Usually after October 7th to the ending of October. But hang tight. You should hear something soon.

Jan 6 2020 courtesy letter for missing medical (dated Dec 31 2019, mailed Jan 2nd 2020)
Ready to be scheduled for interview (Jan 31st 2020)

Priority Date for AOS doesn't matter. Yes, the Received Date of the I-485 should be no more than a few days after the mail gets there.

The priority date for I-130 determines when a visa number is available for your category so you can proceed to Adjustment of Status or Consular Processing. AOS (I-485) are processed in the order received; there is no wait for something to become available.Originally posted by chuva02 View Post
