After an I-485 Interview

My wife and I (I am the principal beneficiary) had an interview on Dec 3. We were not asked a lot of questions -- the only ones we were asked were directly from the I-485 form (name, Dob, and a list of questions towards the bottom of the application). At the end of the interview, the immigration officer told us to "expect updates in two days and mail in about two weeks". She did not tell us whether we were approved, recommended for approval, or if she needed to review our documents.

Our status online still says "Interview was Scheduled" from Oct. 22nd.

Anybody had a similar issue?

I have read several cases just like yours, you will need to wait a few days/weeks until the status change. I hope you get the approval soon.

We had our interview on Nov 19th and still no update. The same exact thing went on for us. She didn't ask too many questions, didn't ask for a specific document and only said what you want to submit to support your case? We gave her all of our supporting document and she even took our whole photo album.
Do you think that it's normal to receive no updates in more than 2 weeks?

No, she didn't. I remember her name. She said that We're gonna review your files.

Yes, yesterday my status changed to new card is being produced! Just as what the officer told me during the interview. She needed a week to review my case and by 30 days I should receive my green card.

My interview was last December 05, 2019 and I was approved on the spot after 2.5 hours of intensive questioning.
The officer gave me a white paper with letters on what forms (I-751) and when I will file the 10 year green card once
my 2 year GC is up for renewal. 2 hours after we leave the office , received a notification that my card is in production!.
Now , they sent my GC to the mail and just waiting for the USPS to pick it up and be delivered at home.

I'm so glad that you got approved on spot. Congrats! It's always better to got asked more questions and give you the answer right away rather than making you wait for an update. I still have no updates and it's more than three weeks after my interview.
