I was just curious if anyone else had this happen when they renewed their EAD/AP. I received the first combo EAD card in November 2018, filed for renewal in September 2019 and it was approved November 2019. However, whey it came in the mail, it is NOT a combo card. I have a separate paper that serves as Advance Parole. Is there a reason behind it? I filed for both renewals at the same time. Thanks!

11/15 - New card is being produced (I-765)
11/26 - EAD combo & SS card

01/23/2020 - Case Approved, Card Mailed. -
Yes that happened to us. Both forms were received 2/11/2019 and we got receipt notices for each. EAD was approved and sent 8/30/2019 but AP is still processing.
So no combo card. It appears that renewals are processed differently than original applications.
