  • Intial Interview - Adjustment of Status - Need Urgent Advice !

    Hi All ,
I wish to say that immihelp is one of the most informative site and is the most updated with the latest information. I would like to share my experiences with you guys and would like to hear some feed backs / comments on the same.

My Wife and I were called in by the officer and were asked to take the oath. She took my I 94 - card attached to the passport used when I entered USA. As soon as we were do with that the officer said that the interview would be separate even before anything could happen. It was my turn to answer the question first and next my wife's. The officer almost went for 1hr and 10 mins with all the possible questions and finally had my wife come in and I was waiting outside. She was in for around 20 mins and added to this our lawyer was there through out the interview. The questions were not a concern as it was regarding our day to day lives and everybody knows what they do day in and day out when you are married :-).Although when we discussed what went on inside - the way we had a couple of them were with the perspectives of Glass is half full / Half empty - with the way we said it. For some reason the office seemed upset from the beginning ..about what I have no idea. So it was not such a pleasant one. After she was done with asking questions my wife and the lawyer came outside and said they haven't reached a decision yet , so we dont know what was the outcome of the interview. The lawyer was very confident that the interview went on very good and said we did a good job.

Can anybody here explain what I can expect next ? I have heard about the stamping on the passport once they take the advance parole docs , but my passport was not stamped nor the she took any documents from me.

Any information regarding this would be much appreciated ,

Thank you and immihelp in Advance !
    Have a Good Day !

    Chris !
