  • I-94 and arrest record, please help me, please....

please, can anyone shed light on my issue.

I am married to a USC, and we have applied for adjustment of status from B2 to GC, we have been called for interview in 3weeks, which is not a problem as the marriage is strong.

But, now I cannot find my I-94, I beleive I must have spring cleaned thrown it out with shredded documents. Will it be problem if I go to the interview without it, as a replacement is expensive.

Also, I had an arrest when I visited another country, I do not have any of the court documents, as I left immediately after all the process, any advice on what I can do or if I can attend the interview and just explain myself..

I am so confused right now, and in need of help or advice desperately.... please help me... please

    thank you..

If you submitted copy of your I-94 along with your passport and visa page then , I think you will be fine regarding the lost I-94. If you did not submit a copy on your I-485, then most likely you will need a replacement depending on the officer interviewing you.

Regarding the arrest, I'm assume its not a simple traffic violation. Then you will need to provide all certified documents related to the arrest/court and most likely a police reports as well from that country.

If for some reasons you did not indicated that you were arrested in your I-485, then that is grounds for denial, as you were not truthful. If you did indicated "yes" were arrested in your I-485, then most likely, it will not be approved until you can convince the officer that it is not grounds for denial by providing the above documents.
