Friday the 13th just became a good day for me. My husband's expedited EAD was approved, the I-485 status changed to ready to be scheduled for interview and we received the I-693 courtesy letter. BOOM!!! Today is a good day

Thanks much Sohi. My field office is taking close to 8 months to schedule interviews but that's okay. He can work, he can get a drivers license, he can get his SSN and he can travel now. What a relief!

You can begin by calling USCIS and explaining the reason you qualify for an expedited work permit.
