EAD received but lost job

Me and my husband are both on H1B. Recently filed I485, I765, I131 application and have received our EAD. I485 application was employment based for my husbands I-140.
I recently lost my job and looking for another job and will be using my EAD for it.
My question is regarding my current status. Do I need to maintain a non-immigrant status? Should I try yo maintain my H1 status or do I need to switch to H4?
Do i need to file any paperwork to start using my EAD even if I do not get a job?

No you dot "need" to maintain any status.
No you do not need to switch over to H4 or try to maintain H1.
No you do not need to file anything to start using your EAD.
