Any CT filers this year who got their interviews scheduled ?

i received online notification and a letter stating that my case was transferred from TSC to NBC. I have no clue what is going on, neither does my lawyer.
it seems like a time wasting strategy to me. I have raised multiple SRs, and have reached out to senator/ congressman office twice, with no progress.

it also seems like they are deliberately doing this , and the sloppy responses we get each time we ask, only confirms the same.

Why would it be sent back to NBC? Isn’t it supposed to be sent to Hartford at this point?

The frustration is growing even worst! I keep getting hung up on every time I call in to inquire. I’m hoping it’s being sent back to NBC so they can waive your interview especially seeing how long you’ve been waiting. Has your marriage hit the two yr mark as yet? Maybe that’s what they’re doing ????????♀️

We have been married for 8 years now. And by the time this thing actually gets approved who knows how many years.

Just dropping in with some good news. I finally got the email that my case is scheduled for interview. I’m waiting on the letter in the mail to know the date.

However, does anyone know if I were to call in if the reps would be able to tell me the date?

Congrats! Did you get it over the weekend? I know a few days ago, you were still waiting. Also, how did you sign up for an email?

I haven’t received the letter in the mail as yet. I got an email notification then I logged in on the USCIS website to check the case status and it was confirmed there that the interview was scheduled.

To get email email notifications from USCIS, you have to create an account on their website and select “Y” for email notifications. I have it set up for email and texts but I find that the texts aren’t always as punctual as the emails.

is that the my USCIS account? I've registered there and the status never changes. I've seen more change when I search directly for USCIS case status and check the numbers. On the online account, the status has been stuck on "case received" since the very beginning.

Ok so there’s another way. When you get to the page to check case status, instead of typing in your number, if you look at the top left corner of the page, you’ll see the option to login or sign up. Click the sign up button and it will walk you through creating another account. Once that account is created, it gives you the option of adding your case numbers. Once case numbers are added, you’ll be able to select to receive info via email and texts.

I called USCIS and spoke to a tier 2 rep who confirmed my interview date is 10/17. This gives us some time to prepare the rest of paperwork. Will keep you guys posted on the outcome of the interview.

Hi guys,

I hope all is well with you all and you guys are seeing some movements on your cases. I had my interview on 10/27/2020 and just received confirmation that my husband's card is being produced.

The interview was pretty smooth. They called us in together. asked standard questions about how we met. They asked us each other's D.O.B, parents' names. Asked me my stepson's full name and D.O.B.

We brought 3 albums with us, one with wedding pictures, one of random family and friend outings and one showing different stages of my pregnancy. They took pictures from the pregnancy album and made copies. Interview ended and they told us they have no concerns with the legitimacy of our marriage (which they shouldn't being as we're a real couple. lol) told us we'll hear back in 4-6 weeks.
