  • Status changed to "Interview was scheduled". When/how will I know my interview date?

As the title says, my status changed to "Interview was scheduled" on 12/20 but on the update, there's no date/time for the interview. Will I have to wait a little more to get this information or will it be available on the paper notice?

You should get the letter any day now (today or tomorrow). If you don't get your letter by the end of the year, plan to call on January 2nd.

nana.p You should sign up for informed delivery service from the USPS. That way you can see and know when it's coming.

Yes the letter will be sent with a few indications of what you should take to the interview. However, please take a bit more than that to show solid proof of your legal request to remain in the country.
I filed under adjustment of status based on marriage to a US citizen and we left nothing to chance. We took the mother load of evidence (found in this link and interview experience. https://www.immihelp.com/forum/adjus...a-pd-july-2017
We had absolutely NO hick-ups, NO problems at all. We are now preparing to submit the I751 to remove the conditions by May 2020. Also if your medical will be expired by the date of the interview please go ahead and get a new one taken, take that sealed envelop with you to the interview and hand it in. You may wait until they ask you for it, but do not leave with it. In several cases an expired medical stands in the way of getting an on the spot approval (of course there can be several other reasons).

                  All the best.
