It's been three weeks since we are done with our interview. Case tracker shows "Interview scheduled".
Is there anyone who are done with their interviews in San Jose field office and got an update on your case? or Is it normal to wait for a few months for San Jose interviews?

Not normal..... Need to call or have lawyer call and make inquiries ASAP

From what I’ve read before they have 120 days to make a decision. I would consult with a lawyer though just to make sure.

My interview was in Sept 2019, received an RFE in Oct 2019. I responded in Mid Oct 2019. Since then there is no updated even my RFE was arrived or not. Status still shoes Intervew was schedule.

As per my lawyer, it can take upto 2 months to get a decision in San Jose.

that was Vietnam. I used my Advance Paroled Card to reenter to the US.

My interview is coming up at the end of January. For me, a slow response would actually be slightly better as our 2 year anniversary is coming up in the beginning of march. Is it typical for San Jose to take longer?
How did your interview go? Did you have all the documents they wanted to see?

You can try to talk to and follow up with a tier 2 representative, but pretty sure they would tell you to wait up to 120 days.

I had my interview on the 23rd in San jose. Marriage based AOS, filed in November 2018. 2 year anniversary coming up March 5th. GC got approved today - 2 days later.

I just had my I-485 marriage based interview in San Jose yesterday(01/27/2020). The interview went smoothly for about 30 mins. The immigration officer said she would be reviewing our case, but by the end of day yesterday, my case status shows "Approved".

I had the interview in San Jose on 1/27/2020. Everything went well with interview and the lady said she needs to review the docs we gave and after decision is made , the green card will be received from 2-6 weeks. We were given the paper of case held review ....Today on 1/30, I didn’t receive anything yet ...So frustrating OMG!!!Why SJ is so slow ????????️
