  • EAD Being Produced

My husband & i attended our interview 01.08.2020, we didn’t get approved on the spot. They’re requesting more evidence.
Today I got a text saying my I-765 was updated, when i checked it says a new card is being approved. Does this mean my work permit & SSN is coming in the mail soon? If so, how long did it take to get yours after receiving the notice?

Did your SSN come with it? Or you had to apply for it?

In our case, the SSN cards took almost 3 weeks after receiving the EADs. I visited the SS office after 2 weeks and they told me that the cards were already in the mail, after 4 days the cards were delivered.

You’ll receive your EAD at least a week after the “card is being produced” update.
