  • I-485 :11 months after Interview Newark,NJ

Hi Everyone, after 10 months of waiting for a decision after green card interview, i raised a service request and i got this response"Please be informed that your case is currently pending decision by a adjudicating officer. We will mail you a notice when we make a decision". What does this mean? What is the next step? Anyone with a Similar experience should pls comment

I would get in contact with a lawyer & see your options. They might be able to do something to speed up the process. We used Ana Raquel Reis, she’s an immigration lawyer. 5 starts & she sped things up fairly quickly.

Thanks. Right now, I am 3 months away from my 2 year wedding anniversary(to get my 10 yr green card) so i am not actually in a hurry to unneccessarily speed things up. I kinda want to know what the next steps are for my process.
