  • Asylum based I-485 shows "Case was transferred to an asylum office " What's next?

Hi All, I granted asylum1.5 years ago, and I filed my I-485 in august, and just recently, the status change to we transferred your case to an asylum office.

This is very strange to me since the asylum office doesn't have the authority on issuing GC, is that mean they are investigating my asylum claim again?

Does anyone have a similar experience? What happens next?

    Thank you

I guess this is common when the situation of the country changes but I don't think you need to worry about that.

Just curious what is your country of origin?

Recently, I have seen happening to people who are from African countries.

I’m from China, but I never really seeing anything like this before and not much people post about case being transferred to asylum office....

if you have seen this before then i think I shouldn’t worry about that, just wait more time.
