I received updates yesterday after my interview that i-485 was approved and approval notice was mailed. Also i-130 is completed and must be reviewed. Im confused. What does this mean? Im not getting the green card? And isnt approval of i-485 contingent on approval of i-130 or am i wrong?

Usually, I have seen the status the other way around, I-130 approved and I-485 must be reviewed. It could be that they didn't update correctly. You will have to wait a few days to see if I-485 change to the card is in production and mailed. Good luck.Nov 2018 - Package sent - EB - Texas Service Center

Don't worry. I met the same situation days ago. I believe in a few hours your I-130 will be approved. Your I-130 might be the first time be reviewed. It should be reviewed by another IO other the one you met.Marriage based AOS, NBC

You are correct. i-485 cant be approved before i-130. It is a system glitch. I got my green card several months ago but my i-130 says case needs to be reviewed and i-485 says approved. Funny thing i-130 was approved on the spot but i-485 was held for review for more than a year.Originally posted by JusNik View Post

Is there anyone here whose case is being processed by MSC? I have read several posts from people whose cases were received after mine and they already have their interview scheduled.
We are from Tyler,TX and our processing office is MSC.

AOS case received 09/03/19 (Married to USC)
EAD case received 09/03/19
BIO 09/27/19

Anyone case being processed in Missouri tx? I haven’t gotten any approval on my AED now gotten a date for interview. Case was ready for interview since November 26th 2019. Nothing yet and no AED.Comment
