Hi guys! Messaging from Florida. I’m married to us citizen, we filed on February 19th, package was delivered on February 22nd. Didn’t cash checks until April 13th! Even through when I look my cases up online, it says they received it in February. Got receipts in the mail and letter saying to bring medical form to the interview. It’s July and I haven’t been invited for fingerprints yet. I understand coronavirus messed things up, but I’m going on 6th month and nothing yet? Anybody in the same situation? I don’t care as much about green card right now as we can’t travel anyways, but husband is an essential, and we want to relocate so I need work permit to work and help him out????

Pretty much the same situation here, but I filed march from Miami. Nothing happened after I received the first NOAs saying they accepted my application (41 or 42 days after filing, even though my PD is March 16) and the medical exam courtesy letter about a month later.

And like you, the no travel / no work thing is starting to driving us mad (me mainly). It feels like we paid to stay in "prison", pretty harsh indeed.

Have you received your status changed to “card is mailed to you”?

My EAD case is still showing “card is being produced” from 19th.

USCIS updated the status: card is mailed to you on July 2.

03/12/2020 case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview
03/16/2020 interview Was Scheduled on 05/05/2020
04/16/2020 further notice declaring that the previous interview was canceled because of the coronavirus pandemic. The formal letter of cancellation notice came on Apr 25, 2020.
current case status: case is ready to be scheduled for an interview.
06/16/2020 I-765 was approved, and I received the notice in mail today. They will mail the EAD card separately.
update: 07/07/2020 received the EAD card

Today i received I-693 Courtesy Letter & also I-765 shows new card is produced.
Am i eligible to start working?

Are they working on I-130 or we'll have to wait for the interview before they aprove it?, My I-130 status still in the same status since I sent the package back in January 2020, the current status is "Case Was Received"

The approval notice says you need to provide the ead card to employer in order to start a job, but hey you can start looking for a job and let them know its coming in a couple of weeks. Most companies dont mind to wait to put you on the payroll till you have it in hand
