Hi everyone. I recently got married to my usc girlfriend of 9 months (I'm a b1/b2 holder) . I haven't started my aos process and we are coming down to a year anniversary. The mother of my children recently moved to the us on a family based GC . We have reconnected since her move and I'm thinking of annulling or divorcing with my usc wife and then getting married to the mother of my kids. She also said she is joining the military soon so her paperwork would be processed much faster. Will my first marriage affect my second one with the mother of my kids?

Depends on country. Where are you from? Being country specific in your answer will help

Your first marriage should not affect your AOS. The problem you have is the mother of your children is not yet a USC and until she becomes one - you will not be able to AOS since you are likely out of status already.

I don't have experience with that consulate. But since you hadn't applied for your first AOS, you should be good. Just make sure you have divorce certificate
