    Hello yall
    My husband and I finally going to have out interview on February. We gather as much proofs as we could find however my husbands birth certificate is missing and we couldn’t find it anywhere We went to the office to get new one and they said it might take up to 4 weeks to come
    does anyone had similar situation and went to the interview with only a copy of birth certificate and soo worry and we only have two weeks and im really worrying
    any advices

    Is it possible to get it expedited or obtain a copy? Get the copy certified by the notary. All the best.

      Try to expedite it but if not possible then have the copy notarized and bring that one instead to the interview. Normally officers would only take a look at it, but if your officer makes a fuss about it, he/she would most likely send you an RFE for the original birth certificate after your interview.
