Hi, this is my timeline experience NYC

08/07/2019 Application for (I-485) in Brooklyn
08/30/2019 Notice for Fingerprint Appointment
09/20/2019 Fingerprint Appointment
12/08/2019 Online my Status (I-485) changed from:
-Your case is ready to be scheduled for an Interview to
-Duplicate Noticed was mailed (my lawyer told me is the Medical letter)
01/07/2020 New card is being produced (Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization and travel permit)
01/09/2020 Card Was Mailed To Me
01/12/2020 Received Combo Card (Work authorization and advance parole for traveling)

Now my status on the I-485 is still: Duplicate Notice Was Mailed
On December 10, 2019, we sent you a duplicate notice about a decision on your Form I-485.

Why isn't this status changing in so long ? what that means?


Any New York / Brooklyn Filler with the same experience ?
When Should I expect an Interview notice ?

No, I'm the petitioner. I got married to a US citizen.
I really don't know because this Status sounds weird and nobody can give me an answer, my lawyer thinks is the missing medical letter but why my status hasn't changed in so long.I just don't want to wait and waste time if there is something wrong. because I've never seen this status from anybody else before.

Any Ideas?

Did you have a notice from December 10?
It’s a courtesy letter with missing a medical? I think they are going to sent you second notice with medical.
I am November filler- Brooklyn.
My case is ready to be schedule for an interview sińce 01/10/2020. Keep posting Your updates.

I, personally, did not receive any letter from them. My lawyer said they received the courtesy letter with the missing medical exam. I hope it is what my lawyer is saying.
If it is the double notice for my missing medical it's fine. It's weird that I cannot find any similar case. or someone that can explain this better.
I even called them and they are not able to see anything and give me more information. I'm early August Filler so I just hope to get my notice for the interview soon because this waiting is killing me. ahahah lol ! keep you posted !
