Extension for submission of supporting documents

Hi guys!


Is it possible to get an extension for a supporting document asked for by uscis? I was asked to submit my sponsor’s tax transcripts but it’s tax season and I’m not sure we can make the deadline. We’ve requested for it but yet to receive it in weeks. Is it possible to ask for an extension to submit this and how exactly do I go about it?

Are they asking for the 2019 tax transcripts or just tax transcripts?
I think that you can send what is available now unless they specifically ask for 2019 too.

Yup. Submit the 2018 tax info to meet your RFE deadline. Take the 2019 tax info with you to the interview.
