Hello everyone,
We just had our AOS I-485 Green Card Interview on Monday, Feb 3, 2020 in Houston, TX.
Everything seems to went well, the interview took around 20-30 minutes and the IO was very friendly and only asked a few questions and also looked at all of our documents. My wife and I were interviewed together and after the interview, the IO said that he doesn't usually give the answer directly after the interview.
The IO said that everything looks good though and we should receive a letter, stating whether we are approved or not, in the mail in 2 weeks, if not, then it may take up to 60 days.
We were disappointed because we wanted to know right away. The IO didn't give us any letter or anything after the interview.
I checked my case status online and the case status still says "Interview was Scheduled" and hasn't been updated yet. I know it's only been a day after the interview, but from what I read of other people's experiences, some had their case status changed hours or a day after the interview.
Have anyone ever experienced something like this?
