Hi,
Can anyone advice me how to get/request the original receipt notice with regards to my I-485?
We have filed I-485 in February 2010. I received a finger printing notice after 3 weeks but did not receive a notice of action receipt for the I-485. I did went to the finger printing.
In the case status online using the receipt number of the finger printing notice it says : they have sent us a notice but was returned by the post office as UNDELIVERABLE. I tried calling USCIS to check the exact address but was fine. And request to have it sent again but states that they do not sent duplicate. We are not asking for the duplicates but the original copy that was not delivered to us.
Now, my problem is we need a receipt notice to file for my EAD which we did not receive. Also, our interview will be scheduled soon. We were just waiting fot the local office for the schedule.
Does anyone have the same experience like ours? Please advice.
