Dear all, I have a question about filing the I-485. My I-140 was approved a while ago; but because of the Visa retrogression I have not filed I-485 yet. I expect to do it later this year considering my priority date. However due to some personal reasons, I don't want to file it even when it can be done this year. So my question is: what are the consequences if I don't file the I-485 (maybe for a long time) even when my priority is good (visa number not retrogressed for me)?
