For those of us waiting for ASCs to open so that we can do these long-delayed biometrics – has anyone received any news?

My center opens on 7/27, and I'm guessing that no appointment letters will be mailed out until the office actually opens. I was hoping that they might schedule appointments ahead of time so they can start on the day they reopen, but it's not looking likely at this stage.

My center also opens 7/27- still no update on when my finger print appt will be. Mine was supposed to be April 1st and I know the offices closed at least 10 days prior to that so I am sure there are several others ahead of me.

I'm starting to get nervous, my drivers license expires Sept 30th and I cannot renew it without an EAD now.

Are you sure you can't renew your drivers' license, or at least get a temporary permit? I'm in MO and I've been able to get a 60-day temporary permit twice now. I know the rules are different in each state, but check with your DMV to be certain. Check the website of the state-level DMV office or call/email them. The people in your local DMV offices may not be familiar with our situation.

Hello guys I got the biometric appointment for my stepdaughter and my stepson not yet my for my wife
we applied USCIS receipt dates are Feb 13th
my wife got approved on her case 765 and 131 but no cards or anything being sent to us I believe this because of the biometric and it was approved July 15
my local ASC was opened July 20th it’s Alexandria VA

07/21 EAD Card received

Hi Yogomiki,

I received my I 797 for approval of I 765 with 1 year expiry date and a letter for approval of travel permit (I 797 for I 131).IS it the same as EAD/combo card or is it a different document from USCIS?? If so, how many days after the letter did you receive your combo card??
