I'm filing from Miami, priority date March 16, still no about biometrics (not even the initial ones)
I filed for an expedite of I765 20 days ago without hearing back.
The Ombudsman's office even contacted USCIS about my case on the 19th, still waiting for them to get any infos...

I just checked and it says New Card is Being Produced can't believe my eyes. I have that tab open sitting, admiring lol

i-131 still shows fingerprints were applied, I hope that doesn't mean only work is approved and not a combo.

02/24 USCIS received application
03/7 received 4 hard copy notice action
02/24 priority date
03/03 notice date
03/25 Biometric appointment (canceled b/c of covid19)
No biometric rescheduled yet .
Has anyone from the same timeline received biometric?

02/20 - package sent to USCIS
02/23 - package was delivered
04/14 - NOA letter receipts
05/01 - courtesy letter about medical
08/04 - NOA biometrics appointment notice for 08/13
08/13 - biometrics done
08/14 - case was updated to show biometrics were taken
08/18 - case is ready

to be scheduled for an interview
08/25 - I-765 case status was updated to “new card being produced”
08/26 - both I-765 and I-131 were approved

Curious how long production/mailing/delivery takes

Helle everyone! I am currently in Dallas Texas, filling through Kansas office. Currently on O-1 Visa, was on P-1 Visa. Filled for i-131 under EB1.


December 2018-I131 approved through expedited processing with one RFE. Took 30 days.
February 18th 2020-Priority date becomes current filled for i-485, and EAD Combo card.
March 1st 2020-NOA received in the mail
March 10th 2020- received letter saying biometrics scheduled for March 18th.
March 18th 2020-Biometrics canceled due to office closing because of COVID-19
April 28th 2020-RFE for supplement J
May 12th 2020- Reply for RFE sent
May 15th 2020- Advanced Parole and Work Authorization approved.
August 17th 2020-Biometrics appointment scheduled for August 27th.
August 27th 2020-Biometrics completed, status changed to "Case was updated to show fingerprints were taken"
August 28th 2020-EAD Card was mailed to me

Note: Had my attorney reach out to USCIS 3 times every 30 days since may 15th regrading my EAD card and after 3 months and 3 requests it was finally produced and sent.

At this point waiting for the interview/case approval, well hopefully. I am 20 years old and this process has been so long for me. Very thankful this forum exists and it is so encouraging reading how people get their approvals! I wish everyone here the best of luck and hope that you all get approvals. I will be updating my post if I hear anything and looking forward to reading more.

Hi guys! I have a question about social security card. My EAD should arrive tomorrow or Tuesday, does ssn arrive in mail also at some point or do I need to go to social security Administration office to get it? A friend of mine got her EAD 3 months ago but never got her social so I was wondering. Also when I check I-131 it says that it was approved, unlike EAD that’s says it was mailed out. Shouldn’t I be receiving a combo card? Thanks!
