Had interview on August 31, we were separated due to restrictions on the amount of persons at the office at the same time. First the petitioner and then the applicant. It was very brief no complicated questions, was approved on the spot. GC in production now, we were told it was going to take about a month to receive it because of covid related delays.But at least we are glad that the process is over now.

Congratulations! That's amazing news. Seems like some cases are moving relatively quickly from EAD approval to interview. That's encouraging.

Anyone here who is still waiting for reschedule biometric, or is it just me left?

Me too . No biometrics at all . Still waiting the second appointment.

I decide to write to my local congressman and the USCIS Ombudsman, will let you all know how it goes to see if that will jump start my application and get my biometric appt rescheduled.

Even though my I-765 got approved last month (without biometics being done) no movement on card being produced or mailed out on my online account....so I suspect nothing will happen until those fingerprints are done. I called USCIS and they told me I have to wait 60 days before I can file a claim for a missing EAD card due to delays in production/mail etc. Such a joke.
Was also told to wait at least 90 days from when my local ASC opened up before doing an inquiry on why biometrics has not been rescheduled as apparently the ASC are given 90 days to catch up (yet I know for a fact from my lawyer they are NOT doing this in order and even my lawyer stated it is odd). She also sent a letter on my behalf 3 weeks ago and still nothing.
Sigh.

you can't get EAD without biometrics done.

I have the same issue with the biometrics appointment. USCIS got my docs on the 25th of February, I got scheduled for biometrics on the 2nd of April. And then there was shut down and it was canceled. And still no rescheduled appointment.
I already contacted Senator for my state and received an answer. And guess what, USCIS said that my case is on hold and that they waiting for my biometrics. Well, guess what I am also waiting to be invited for biometrics.
Tbh, I am shocked by the way how USCIS works these days.

I tried to contact ombudsman but still didnt received any response yet..it is useless to contact uscis before 90 days. Because they always say the same line " wait till 90 days ".

Today i received email from ombudsman that they have contacted USICS and i hope uscis will reply and schedule my biometric

"Dear Sir or Madam,
The Ombudsman's Office has reviewed your request for case assistance and contacted U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) regarding your application/petition."

I did the same thing last week, I really hope this helps move things along! I have not heard anything back yet from the ombudsman office yet.
USCIS is pretty useless when you call because they keep saying to wait 90 days from when the local office opened. Does not make sense since they are obviously not processing applications in order!

Ok . Let we know if that will work for biometrics appointment . Im also stuck in that . Waiting.

Hi there, i contacted tier 2 officer this morning and i told her that i had an biometric appointment in march and she said, she will try to reschedule it. She asked me, is 22 Oct is ok?, i said ok. After 2 minutes she said, she successfully schedule it for 22 oct.


She said, i will receive letter in mail and if not received by 19 oct contact us again.

I asked her to send me any confirmation by email about biometric, she said i cant do that

So at least something is happening in my case

Same here . I contacted then . They said you scheduled for 13 th. And I will receive in the mail soon . At least some for us that has been cancelled . Happy day here too .

Happy day . Just received my biometrics schedule.
after 6,5 months . Priority day 02/24 . NBC office . Atlanta . I hope you guys receive soon .
