Yes . I don’t know if the phone call helped but , the second tier officer was ready saying . “ your biometria has been scheduled and mailed out “” 13th. Exactly like the letter .

Just got my biometric appointment in Orlando, FL. I called them yesterday and someone informed me on phone that they sent out notice on 10/03/2020 and this morning I got notice in mail.
2 weeks ago I had sent a request for case "Outside Normal Processing Times" and USCIS mentioned that "Your application information has been entered into the system which schedules applicants for biometrics at their local ASC." Not sure if that had anything to do my biometric appointment being scheduled, but my ASC opened on Jul13th, so I am couple of days away from 90 days.

Just got a pink courtesy letter from USCIS today. I'm a Feb I-485 filer.

I did biometrics in August and got my EAD and AP card shortly thereafter (within a week) although both were approved in May.

I posted in I-485 forum about this, but this is what I wrote.


I got a pink RIFE letter from USCIS today, which I was expecting as they had sent me a notice via email saying they were sending me a letter a few days ago. (Although I will note that I am signed up to 2 USCIS sites for my case, one of which did not update but the other one did. Their online systems are not the best to be honest. They are not always thorough or current but I check them both regularly.)

They want my proof that I've maintained lawful non-immigrant status since my last entry (which I have). This means that I must send them my most recent I-94 ..... which, after about 5 attempts of putting my details on the I-94 site - https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/ - I was finally able to retrieve after it told me multiple times that it couldn't find any record of me which was a little scary :-)..... and any I-797 notices I've received before applying for AOS.

I will also include the visa stamp (since they no longer issue paper I-94's anyway) and my most recent visa. They also want a couple photos and my I-693 medical exam (which I didn't originally submit). So time to go and do the medical exam.

Just FYI, I applied for AOS in February 2020. EB1-1A category. I already have my EAD and AP. NYC.

Anyone in NYC who has a good and decently priced civil surgeon to go to? I've called some places to check on prices but pls let me know.

I'm hoping this is the final step before AOS approval and that once I submit all of this info they will send me my GC. I don't believe I will be getting an interview. It doesn't sound like it - or I assume they would have asked me to bring the I-693 to my interview? I self petitioned and didn't need a job offer so I think that takes away the need for an interview?

Anyway, let me know any thoughts. Thanks to everyone for their info on this site. Hope you are all well and healthy.

then all closed . No biometric rescheduled yet .

08/05 expedite request - due job offer , severe loss financial .
08/17 cases approved ead - work and travel
10/05. Rescheduled biometrics letter by mail
10/13 Biometrics done
10/18 EAD combo card received by mail . Happy day
10/29 Case ready for schedule for interview (:

Not yet. From the look of things , scheduling is probably gonna start next month. But I might be wrong.

I've had biometrics done, went to doctor for vaccines in May. but still haven't heard anything. I assume the interview next.

Hi guys, husband I filed for I-485 marriage based in February. As you can see from my timeline I got my biometrics done in August and received combo card shortly after. Well yesterday I got a letter with invitation for another biometrics appointment for travel document which I already have? Anyone had it happen to them? Did uscis make a mistake?

04/14 - NOA letter receipts
05/01 - courtesy letter about medical
08/04 - NOA biometrics appointment notice for 08/13
08/13 - biometrics done
08/14 - case was updated to show biometrics were taken

08/25 - EAD card is being produced
08/26 - both EAD and travel have been approved
08/28 - EAD card was mailed out
09/02 - combo card received

Yes this happened to me. I also did biometrics in August, and have my combo card and my I-485 is in process, with biometrics attached. Someone else elsewhere in the thread said they had the same thing - I'm assuming is some kind of error. I tried to call them several times on Friday. I'm gearing up to call them again, just not looking forward to the 40 minute wait! Let me know what happens. I think it's mistake but will call to find out.
