My marriage-based AOS interview is coming up, and I think our case is pretty good (we have a kid, have a lot of evidence that shows we live together, have joint bank accounts and assets, etc.). However, just to make sure that we're completely prepared, I heard from some people that the some of the questions during marriage-based AOS can get very personal, like questions about sex life, clothes (underwear), etc. Is this true (or remotely true)? Is it also true that we are interviewed separately for them to see if the answers match? What if they ask one or both of us something that we genuinely don't know or don't remember? Thanks!

it is true that they ask personal questions. just tell the truth. having a child together might hold back on the personal stuff but they still ask questions. I was separated and we did ok. just relax if your marriage is real they wont try to trick you.4-18-18 PD

I think they ask those intimidating question when they suspect a couple of being fraud, or on the 2nd interview.
