3 years of waiting and got interview finally

Its a long story but my PR date was may 25th 2017 and finally got an interview date for march 26th 2020, my field office is Atlanta , have not receive any letter yet about the interview not going to take place, am just keeping my finger crossed and hope i get to do it......anybody with any update about Atlanta field office drop in the comment

Good heavens, that's a long wait. Congratulations! Keep an eye out for that COVID-19 update. I got my interview date cancelled too (March 25th, 2020), but they immediately changed the status to Case is Ready to be scheduled for an Interview. So I'm waiting for an official date. Good luck!

I doubt you'll have an interview... their website says all field offices are closed to public access until at least April 1. They likely won't send you a cancelation notice. You're just expected to know not to show up. They will reschedule you when they can.

My interview 3/31 in NYC was also cancelled. I really can't see offices reopening on 4/1. Is there any chance they would grant GC without the interview since the interview was optional until a few years ago

I've been wondering the same thing! It seems to me like once they reopen they'll be so booked it could take months to get an interview appointment.

I'm also wondering if people who have appointments scheduled for say June will have their appointments pushed back so they can reschedule to people whose appointments were canceled. Or will they just put our appointments after theirs? I don't know how to word that properly but hopefully it makes some sense.
