Wow that’s interesting. But a careful look at the timeline seems to appear that the 2nd biometric appointment (for I-131) was cancelled and the one from/for the I-485 and I-765 was applied.

I'm new to this forum Just added my signature and current status. Today I received my Biometrics appointment letter for 08/11 in San Diego! I've been very patient through all this time and looks like now the case is finally moving. Hopefully all of us from March will receive a notification soon! Cheers!

Finally! Got the biometrics appointment letter today (dated 7/28), scheduled for 8/13. Our ASC opened on 7/20 (Southern California).

Yesterday we received a letter from USCIS with my husband's name... I started to read it : "We approved your work authoriza..." I went from excited to realistic in a second and realized it was really addressed to my father-in-law who has the same name and lives in the same building. HA HA HA *breaaaathe*

Good thing is they are processing and working cases now and he was waiting since feb/march for his work permit! Hopefully my biometric appointment's on its way too!

Yes, Glad to see there’s movement in our cases. It’s been a long wait....! Hopefully, we all get our bio appointments and MORE IMPORTANTLY get our EAD/AP/Interviews FAST TRACKED!

I started tying CONGRAT.... whiles reading till I got to the “addressed to my father-in-law” mdr, c'etait une bonne "blague". Hopefully yours have been printed and on its way to you. Just a matter of time.

Hahaha... I’m sure you’ll receive your biometric letter this week. Looks like a lot of appointments were sent out on 7/28. Yours must be on the way.

So after the Biometrics they should run down our history with the FBI, and then we just have to wait (ideally) 1-3 months for the EAD? I tried to look at some old posts from 2019 applicants to get an idea.

On average (in pre Covid era) it was 4-6 months, with majority of people receiving it in the 4th month and some actually having their interview and I-485 approved before they even received their EAD. So I’m personally expecting it in December but there is a chance we might get it sooner since USCIS has already gone through our applications. So it should move fairly quickly once they get the background check from FBI, but you never know. I just hope that I don’t receive any RFE after biometrics.
