Well that's hopefully good news for the both of us. I've seen NOA texts within a few days for credit cards, but cheques seem to take 7-10 days in a lot of cases to get cashed and NOAs sent out via text.

I'll let you know the moment I hear anything.

Thanks for creating this thread. I originally had sent my application on 2/24 but it got rejected because of outdated I-465 form so I resubmitted again last week and here's my timeline so far:

3/16: Package sent to USCIS Chicago Lockbox
                3/17: Package received by USCIS
                3/20: Credit Card charged
                3/24: NOA texts

How long did you wait for the letter of rejection? Have the same mistake.

                      Hi,

I'm currently student with F-1 and just got my EAD card 2 weeks ago. I have 90 days to find a job with my OPT.
Unfortunately, coronavirus situation affects every business and I can't find a job. What can I do?
Can I submit an extension request regarding unfortunate situations with coronavirus?
If you can guide me I would greatly appreciated because I don't know what to do but it looks like It's very hard to find a job during this crisis.

I think you posted in the wrong topic. For OPT, the only way is applying anywhere you can. I found my OPT job before using this website: https://www.myvisajobs.com/. Hope this will help.

Yep. I’ve still heard nothing. Partly relieved I’m not the only one (as my fear is a second rejection due to mistaken filing!) Feel sorry for the lockbox workers in Chicago though - seemed to be a slowdown after March 20th.
