My understanding is that once the case changes go “Ready to be scheduled for interview,” it means NBC has completed reviewing the file and it’s ready to be adjudicated by a FO. So if no RFE/RIFE was issued, it will stay that way till after the interview.

As far as photos and proof of bona fied marriage goes, didn’t you send all that along with your application already? You should take all the submitted documents proving bona fied marriage and more documents you might have acquired during the months leading up to the interview date with you to your interview.

I see. No, we did not submit any photos, our lawyer said that’s for later or even at the interview so we are still printing photos month to month as the time goes by. She even recommended us to present the Medical Report at the interview.

Gotcha. Strange that your lawyer told you not to send photos with your application. Did you send any other documents supporting bona fied marriage? USCIS does require you to submit documents proving bona fied marriage at the time of filing. But if it’s just photos that you didn’t send, I’m sure it’s not a big deal cuz like you said, you can present them at the time of the interview. And we included I-693 in our package, didn’t wanna leave it for later.

No, we just added the Marriage Certificate as far as I know... she told us just to be prepared in case they asked for more proof of our marriage (photos, bank statements, etc...) Let’s see what happens! She has been the lawyer of all my family members who applied for their GC’s and they got theirs super fast so I thought this was a normal procedure (to show everything at the interview).

Hmmm... I find it a little strange. I wonder what her reasoning is. But then again, why change the winning formula, lol. I’m sure you’re in good hands.

Came here to post the same. Just got an email 5 mins ago saying “Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview.” Everything moved really fast after waiting for months. Now let’s just sit back and start the waiting game again. I’d be happy if we get scheduled for interview before we even receive EAD.

                    • I have just applied for an expedite of EAD (on humanitarian grounds). I’d provide updates on the outcome.

I have thought about doing that, but I still don’t know what exactly to use. As for the suggestions you guys gave me, to use the supporting documents I had from April, I think the dates on the letter from the doctors are way outdated. And I’m afraid to try it and get denied.

What did you intend to use as supporting documents for humanitarian reason? And if you could give us little insight on the cover letter you intend to submit, please.

Email and app notification: Fingerprints relating to your Form I131, APPLICATION FOR TRAVEL DOCUMENT, have been applied to your case.

Hopefully this means in the next couple days/weeks the EAD/AP will be approved!
