Congrats for the biometrics!

About the Expedite, they are not going to refuse the request, but they are probably not going to approve it either, because of those missing biometrics.
I contacted USCIS again today and was advised to call again and ask for a tier 2 officer who'll be able to (apparently) "help me / investigate my case further".
They were all busy atm, so will try this tomorrow morning first thing!

Still no bio notice in the mail.

Ps: I use the uscis.gov website "check your status"

Hello everyone,

So following my call Thursday and my request for expedited processing, yesterday my case status did not change but this appeared under I-765 (see picture)
The most recent bullet point "your request (...) was completed" appeared at the same time, before I sent anything to them.

I had also received an email from USCIS asking me to FAX - Why easy if you can make hard right? - supporting documents.
I assembled a pdf (cover letter + a lot of bank statements) and sent it through an online Fax service.

I did not receive any confirmation from the fax website at first, so I tried a couple more times and an hour after, I got 3 emails from the service provider, the 3 faxes of 64 pages each have been sent! At least they'll know I was really into sending it!!

Now waiting for Monday to see if there's any move...

(Also still no biometrics notice)

Isaias in Florida (Miami at least) happened to be just a "little" storm on Sunday morning, so I don't think it had a big impact on USCIS office over here.

And like I mentioned my case shows that NBC has not even requested Miami's office to invite me for the biometrics. This is something that should have happened already a while ago. That's why I am now filing for an expedite. I'm pretty sure having called today is still better than waiting 2 more months to call them and get the "oh sorry NBC hasn't contacted Miami yet"...

I know Isaias didn’t cause any disruptions in Florida but initially it was expected to and it’s fairly common for USCIS to take proactive measures due to bad weather. So it might have played a part. I also did read somebody here from Florida mentioned their interview was canceled due to Isaias. I hope that is the reason in your case, it’s better than some other silly reason. Rooting for you to get a letter in next 2 weeks.

The panic is very "normal" and you should be getting used to that shortly. Nonetheless, I'd say give yourself ample time and after 30 days (which I believe would be 8/13 in your case), you may contact the Lockbox and/or USCIS to follow up on why only 1 cheque has been cashed.

I'd say you are even fortunate to have filled in July when the USCIS offices and ASC are resuming their operations.

I wish you well and do update us with any progress.

I know! I'm really concerned about the amount of work USCIS have stacked due to closing...Do you guys think they probably have some work pre done for our cases?...
I really hope after biometrics us from March (who are the most behind in the process than Apr,May,Jun) have a massive leap in the process.

I know, I sincerely believe those of us from Late February and March are the worse sufferers/victims in this pandemic and for this reason, I hope that USCIS considers and fast tracks our EAD/AP after biometrics. I just hope so.
