Deeps87 This is great news! This is exactly what I was hoping for, that since we’ve waited for so long, we might get GC interview before EAD arrives so at the end there will be no need for EAD. My only worry is that it’s not gonna be the case for everyone. Since USCIS averted furloughs, they’ve said that they’ll have to cut budget which means processing delays. I assume this is the reason they changed EAD processing time to 29-37 months.
So at the end of the day we might get EAD or GC interview in next month or maybe 6 or maybe a year, who knows. I guess got the interview, it all comes down to FO.
Anyway, really happy that your case moved so fast and your journey is coming to an end soon. Best of luck and keep us posted!
Thank you so much! This whole process has been so stressful. I am actually ok if it takes a while to get the Greencard but I am more concerned about my EAD because my current STEM OPT EAD is expiring next year in the first week of February and the updated processing time for EAD 29-37 months is making me really nervous. If I get my Greencard before EAD/Travel permit then ofcourse that'd be the best case but I don't have the notice in the mail yet so not sure when my actual interview is going to be.

I don’t think you have to worry about renewing your EAD because you’ll get your GC interview notice in 1-2 weeks and 99.99999% it will be scheduled a month from the notice date. So you’re all set.

Oh that’s good!!! Cheers!!! At least you can now relax, live normally...lol and make the papers, while you await the GC. Wish you best of luck in your search for job.
- 2 hours ago the senator's office replied to me, they made an inquiry about my case to USCIS.
- A few minute ago my online status changed to "expedite denied" (finally!)
- AND I literally just received a biometrics notice by mail... appointment's on septembre 14.
I don't know why USCIS told me on the phone Friday there was still no bio notice on my case because the letter date is 08/25.
I also have no idea if the Senator's office inquiry about my case pushed USCIS to finally take a decision on my pending expedite. But at least, something happened!
Let's hope everything goes fast after they have my fingerprints/picture, and we don't have to wait months for the actual EAD/AP...

CHEERS!!!!! Finally!!!
Let’s pray we don’t wait too long for our EAD.
There’s a site called “Visa Journey”, which I do browse to view updates on other AOS case timelines. From their countdown and base on the filing date 03/24/2020, we might get EAD approval next month, September.
Even though the pace of cases seem RANDOM lately.
Like USCIS is using the DV lottery selection methods to select cases for processing....lol
