Wow so nice RYAN923 !! It all went so fast after it finally moved!! congratulations

Over here nothing big, I received a call from a Tier2 officer last week, who confirmed my second biometric appointment was a mistake and cancelled it.
No news about an interview but in Miami, the adjustment of status was already taking forever before covid... (now the estimates are 12.5 to 27.5 months for family-based AOS)

Anyone else got their interview scheduled?

      good luck everyone!

Hey Mmesa, Thanks, it’s been awhile since our EAD receipt, everyone is busy..lol. I was amazed to see the interview updates considering the slow pace of immigration process nowadays.

        Hope everyone gets theirs ASAP.

Could you tell me whats the reasoning you gave to USCIS for expediting EAD card? Are you in healthcare industry or did you show any other kind of severe financial personal/business loss? And how?

I have a job offer that I need to join by 7 December and haven’t had my biometrics done or EAD approved yet.

Looking forward to your response. Thanks in advance.

However; after I contact those govement agents, today I received my Biometric Notice, but the weird thing is, I also received an email saying that both my EAD and AP are approved.
That sounds great. Can you post your exact timeline and case type please. Also I have a job offer in hand but no biometrics yet and I need EAD to join in 2 weeks. All my previous requests to get biometrics resulted in they assigning me a service request and then asking me to wait to get a call from Tier 2 offficer who never called. Instead they closed my service request without ever calling me. Now I really need the EAD, preferably before getting biometrics like how you got. Can you tel me what exactly did you tell the congressman and ombudsman to expedite your EAD?

Just FYI - if you received your I-765 approval between Dec 1 2019 up to and including August 20 2020 (which it appears you did), you can use the I-797 approval notice for your job in place of your EAD if it has not come through yet. https://www.uscis.gov/i-9-central/fo...ue-to-covid-19

thanks so much for your advice. But I don’t have an approval notice. I just have the first receipt notice that I got when I submitted my 765. That wouldn’t suffice right? Or will it?

Oh, I see - I thought you had been approved. No, unfortunately you can't use the receipt notice. Really hope your case moves quickly.

Your application information has been entered into the system which schedules applicants for biometrics at their local ASC. Once you have been scheduled, you will receive an ASC Appointment Notice containing the date, time and location of your appointment."
