Pepe, have you heard anything yet? Checks cashed? My package was received on the 24th March, but nothing yet on my end. Spoke to a tier-2 officer this morning who couldn’t find anything on the system either (and recommended I email Lockbox Support for a second time).

Last time I called, they said the same thing to me. I don’t really know if A-number I gave works in this case in my situation. They looked up my A-number and did not see anything in the system, but I got my text messages on the same day I called.

Some good news guys!

We called today and we were told that our case was received on the 13th of March! (We sent by FedEx on the 11th of March).

The USCIS officer we spoke to gave us two receipt numbers for forms I-485 and I-765, beginning with ‘MSC **** **** **’

We were told to expect paper notices (for forms 485 and 765) in the mail on the 16th of April.

Note:
The officer told us the case had been in the system and was being processed since then (13th March).

Keep on calling them guys!

I guess their systems are a bit funny and I say that because we didn’t receive any texts or emails even if our cases had been in the system for a full month.

I’ll keep everyone posted

We were told to expect paper notices (for forms 485 and 765) in the mail on the 16th of April, after which the notices for forms I-944 and I-864 would follow.

Note:
The officer told us the case had been in the system and was being processed since then (13th March).

Glad to see it, PSP, and welcome! Did you file to the Chicago lockbox? Mine has been stuck there since March 24th, without word or cashing of checks, so just trying to get some bearings here.

Yes I did files at Chicago Location. I called today uscis customer service and they gave me receipt numbers, I use my old rejected receipt number to locate the case. Hope u will see updates soon. Try calling them with u r old receipt numbers may be they can locate u r case based on that.

How strange! Thought they were supposed to generate new ones! Will try that. Thanks so much for your response.

Yes they do generate new receipt number, but by using old rejected receipts u can locate ur case with uscis customer service if u do not have the new one already

I first sent my AOS package on 02/16, received 02/18 at Chicago Lockbox. On 03/06 my file was rejected and sent back to me (issue on payment form).

I reapplied (with I-944 and supporting documents) and sent my new package on 03/14, received at Chicago Lockbox on 03/16. Since then no receipt, and the money is still on our account.
Am feeling quite anxious, I emailed lockbox support twice already but got no reply.

Any news on your sides?

Hello, we actually had a similar experience. Ours was received on 3/13/20. On a positive note, our receipt numbers were handed to us exactly a month later after we called.

They informed us that the AOS package had been moved from Chicago to Missouri where it was being processed.

I had had an initial rejection too, and my post-public charge packet was pretty massive, so maybe it’s that they’ve had to send bits and pieces elsewhere for processing. Will call them tonight for an update and let you know through here if I hear anything (and if I hear nothing). Should hopefully help with any anxiety (for the both of us).

Just called USCIS and they were not able to find a receipt number under my name, they just said to keep mailing lockbox support...
Am so disappointed, 32 days since they received it.

I cannot imagine the hell am gonna go through if they lost my package.
Better focus on positive thoughts!

Have you asked to speak to a tier-2 officer? NOAs are supposed to be generated (and received) within 30 days, so you should ask to speak to a tier-2 officer. They can put in a Service Request if you've told them that you've already messaged the Chicago Lockbox and received no response.

Make it clear to the tier-2 officer that it is now 32 days since receipt. If you have your original tracking number (FedEx, UPS, USPS), make sure you have it in front of you before calling.
